Joevonte H. Norfork, 19, of LaVergne Tennessee (Henning and Maury City Tennessee), transitioned in LOVE on the 9th of October 2019. He was born and clothe in LOVE December 21, 2019 Covington, TN, the son of Rolanda “Genean” Norfork and Joe Harold McLemore Jr. He attended LaVergne schools and graduated from LaVergne High School in 2018, where he was a member of various organization namely LHS Wolverines Football team. Continuing his educational endeavors at Lincoln College of Technology where he wanted to fulfil a lifelong LOVE of working with and repairing cars. Joevonte was employed in many areas of customer service where his smile was infectious. His hard work and joy will be missed at those companies.
Joevonte “Jay” was a member of the of LaVergne High School football team where he achieved many moments of team and personal success. Joevonte was invited to various collegiate football programs for work outs one of those being Middle Tennessee State University.
Joevonte “Jay” within his 19 years was driven by many passions. The greatest of those passions is his lovely daughter Isabella (Bella) INoah Norfork whom this passion was shared and united with Layla Orozco (Nashville, TN.) his special LOVE. His dreams and passions will continue to produce a path for Bella as she now embraces the LOVE he left and the continued LOVE from her mother and extended family and friends.
Jay as the son of Rolanda “Genean” Norfork (LaVergne, TN) Joe Harold McLemore Jr. (Maury City, TN) his impact on both his mother and father was profound and one which brought both joy, happiness and love. The memories and emotions of his life will continue to grow within both.
Jay as the brother of Navseon Norfork (Nashville, TN) and Kianah Norfork (Louisville, KY) being the “baby boy” gave each of his siblings a reason to be protectors and mentors. Jay may have at time reversed those roles where he acted as his older sister’s protector. And at times inspired his brother in many ways only a little brother could.
Jay as a nephew auntie Audrey Rogers (Maury City, TN), auntie Mavkida Green (Henning, TN), auntie Denicka Green (Henning, TN), and auntie Tiffany Driver (Ripley, TN); uncle Marco McLemore (Maury City, TN) and Ryan Carter (Detroit, MI) Jay had his way with getting his way with his uncles and aunts. Jay was able to get a yes from them when a no would’ve been the better answer.
Jay as a grandson Shirley Allen and Joe Harold McLemore Sr. (Maury City, TN) Francis Pam Norfork Harris (Las Vegas, NV) Stanely Green (Henning, TN), Montgomery Carter (Detroit, MI) Jay to his grandparents were their special treasure they LOVE him beyond measure and many times didn’t want to share him with others. His name in their mouth was a sweet song.
