On December 23, 2023, Doris Currie Farrington departed this life and gained her wings at AHC/ Crestview. She was born October 8, 1941 to Edward Currie and Nell Opal Gibbs, whom both preceded her in death.
She professed a hope in Christ an early age and united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed and retired from MTD/Cub Cadet. She was married to Glenn Farrington, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories five children, Sharon Currie of Brownsville, TN, Paula Currie of Jackson, TN, Glenn Farrington, Jr., Glenda Farrington, and Charles Currie all of Brownsville, TN. Seven siblings, Virginia Ann Ferguson of Buffalo, NY, William Thomas Gibbs of Decatur, IL, Jimmy (Willeta) Hudson, Thomas Hudson, Clarence Hudson, Mary Nell Hudson, Ronnie (Robin) Hudson all of Louisville, KY.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents Edward Currie and Nell Opal Gibbs and a brother Wilbert Hudson.
She also leaves to cherish her memories six grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, other relatives and friends.
