May 9, 1935 was the season and time that God planted a beautiful seed on earth, Ora Lou Mann. Ora Lou was born to the late Robert Ed and Augusta Rogers Mann in Brownsville, Tennessee. She was the youngest of six children. Ora made her final transition on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, with her dedicated and devoted daughter Linda and her loving granddaughters Tracy & Diandra at her bedside.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Currie's Funeral Home in Henning, Tennessee with Pastor James T. Farmer, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Historic Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
She leaves the following family members to carry on her memory and celebrate her life: her sole offspring, Linda Louise Taylor, who tirelessly rendered countless hours of caregiving and support; two granddaughters whom she adored Tracy Lynn Taylor of Hendersonville, TN & Diandra Pruiett (Martavious) Clark of Brownsville, TN; four great-grandchildren Sakiya Areana Clark of Joplin, MO, Kennedi Amoralin Pruiett, Ayden Winfrey Clark, and Mason Demont Clark of Brownsville, TN.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
